Volcano eruption on Heimaey, Iceland 1973

Some more exceptional film material from Gerhard Skrobek and Hermann Luschner. The video shows partial destruction und evacuation of the Vestmannaeyjar island Heimaey. It also shows the rapid growth of Eldfell volcano during the first days of the eruption. Unfortunately the super8 material is in a bad condition, so that it was impossible to post the video in a higher quality. However I think that this documentary is worth watching
